Senior Electrical Engineer (English)

What you will do 

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work on complex malfunctions, has a hands-on mentality, and wants to be involved from A to Z in projects within his/her field. In addition, you will be engaged in drawing, calculating, and specifying the electronic production installations in AutoCAD and Eplan. You are mainly involved with the standardization of the plant, but you are also involved in optimizing production processes in ongoing projects. 
You will work in a dynamic work environment on unique production processes of pipes and conduits that withstand severe (weather) conditions.

AutoCAD and Eplan are used, and you will deal with power electrotechnology. During my visit, I found myself in a clean, quiet factory where you could almost hear a pin drop. The large pipes run through a roller coaster-like structure throughout the factory. Outside, the large pipe rolls, the size of a carousel, are stored. 

The client operates globally in the production of sustainable pipes used in offshore, wells, and subsea environments. In the past, the company has earned its stripes in producing high-end composite designs and construction enterprises in the aviation industry. The company has shifted its expertise to various industries, and now it has been active in Thermoplastic Composite Pipe technology for over 25 years. The company is growing tremendously, and you contribute to that! This allows you to grow with the size of the company.

Responsibilities in a nutshell

– Drawing and maintaining electrical diagrams;
– Making basic and detailed designs of electrical installations;
– Troubleshooting and detecting faults in production installations;
– Writing work instructions and manuals regarding electrical installations;
– Willing to obtain a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

What we are looking for

– You have a Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking;
– You are able to read electrical diagrams;
– You have at least 4 years of experience in machinery construction, industry, or installation technology;
– You are communicatively skilled, dynamic, and assertive;
– You take responsibility for your projects;
– Experience in AutoCAD is a must;
– Experience with EPLAN is a big plus;
– Knowledge of Dutch legislation regarding electrical installations;
– Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
